Tracey says, “It seems a bit odd now to be posting my Healthy Mummy results as I have managed to convince a few friends and family to come over to this amazing program but I will do it as I’m proud of how far I’ve come today.
I thought I would share the first pics I took and the pics I took today.
Sad news is the purple bra is now on it’s tightest hook so will have to find a new favourite soon.
But great news is that it’s on its tightest hook so all this hard work is paying off xx “
  

Camilla Sharma

Camilla says, “I realised the first picture, on the left, is from almost one year ago today. And two days later I bought these jeans. When I first got them I could only do them up if I held in my tummy and it got to a point just after Christmas where I couldn’t do them up at all. I was so unhealthy, so unhappy, so depressed and suffering. A year on I couldn’t be more different! I’m active, happy, healthy and no longer in pain. Now it’s time to go buy new jeans as these ones barely stay up at all!! That’s all down to the Healthy Mummy and the 28 Day Challenges!”

Tracey says, “The left is me 2 years ago after the birth of my second, and the right is me today fitting into a dress I haven’t got into in 4 years, prior to kids !! In fact it still has the labels in! Feeling proud of myself doesn’t even come close – I have worked hard to get where I am and the best bit is, it hasn’t felt anything like hard! I have enjoyed every minute of my Healthy Mummy journey so far and can’t sing it’s praises enough. I don’t diet, have never dieted – and I still don’t! I have been re-educated on what are the right choices for my family and I, and we now follow a healthy, happy and active lifestyle eating the most delicious meals and snacks . I love the lifestyle Healthy Mummy has taught us and I love Healthy Mummy and it’s community” .

Maria O’Rourke

Maria says,“I was debating all morning if to upload this picture to the point I sent it to my partner and asked him what I should do. I hate my stomach and it makes me anxious to show anyone my stomach. It took me forever to let my partner touch it, and still get nervous now when my partner does! So it is a huge step for me to show a little bit in this picture.
First picture was me 2 days before our first family holiday in June and the second was first thing this morning.
I signed up to The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge in August and I have had my ups and downs. Some days are a struggle to get up out of bed, and sometimes I want to get a naughty snack.
But everyday I try and each day I get stronger to push myself. By the end of September I lost 10 lbs and I am still counting the numbers.
Thank you Healthy Mummy for your support, recipes, guidance and overall confidence I am getting.”

Sarah says, “Like a lot of people, I don’t have any full body photos from my biggest days but I’ve got plenty of me hidden behind a baby! 
I started The Healthy Mummy at the beginning of August and I’ve lost 2 stone so far. Still lots to go but I can see the difference in my face (and my complexion!). I’ve had a stressful day today and the old me would have eaten my feelings, but I’m off out for a run instead!”

Sar says, “Well, today I looked at the pictures I took of me when I signed up to The Healthy Mummy back in May 2018 for the first time since that day.

From that first day I wanted to be honest and open which is why I decided after much pondering and crying that day that I would post them, despite the fact that I hated them so much. I knew from that 1st day that things would get better and it is all thanks to The Healthy Mummy.

I am still crying looking at these pictures – ashamed of what I had let myself become, so depressed about not being the Mum I wanted to be for my children but I made a huge change that day, and now I am never going to go back to that again.

I started my first 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge in June 2018 and I have been astounded by the progress I have made since. It is slow progress and I have a long way to go, but each small step is still another step toward my final goals.

I am very proud that I have lost 3 dress sizes and over 25 inches since I started but, most importantly to me, are the gains I have made. I have more confidence than I ever have had before, I have self belief, a healthy relationship with food for the first time in my life and I am finally becoming the Mum my children deserve and can look up to. I am living my life rather than hiding in the background.

This has not been done by some faddy diet but by a healthy lifestyleenjoying amazing food, fun workouts and as part of such an inspiring group of women, where we support each other along the way. It is the Healthy Mummy lifestyle and it is overwhelming how much it has changed everything for the better for me – it truly has been life changing.

I am no longer afraid of what lies ahead, I am embracing the journey and I am so excited to see where it takes me next.”
