How Laura got started
“I had found a post about the Healthy Mummy on Facebook four months ago, and signed up to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge a few weeks later after convincing myself to take the leap.”
Laura wanted to build up her self-confidence
Not all of our mums on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge are there for weight loss alone. While it’s a great by-product of a healthy lifestyle, there are myriad other benefits too. For Laura it was all about boosting her self-confidence.
Success on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge comes in many different forms. For Laura, it wasn’t about the number of pounds lost – she didn’t even record her starting weight. But she has definitely seen the results of her efforts!
Laura says, “I didn’t know my weight when I first started the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and don’t regularly weigh myself – for my benefit!
I have noticed my clothes are a lot baggier and I have purchased clothing, which are at least 2 sizes smaller.”
How has life changed for Laura?
“Since joining the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, my confidence has improved massively. I feel more confident in myself, I want to push myself now with what I want to achieve.
Before, I didn’t have the energy and would give up. I attend a Pole Fitness class, but when I started 10 months ago I felt useless, so unfit and stupid for being there.
I would hide away and go home, wanting to give up and not to go back.
