Mum was SHOCKED when she compared her weight loss to bags of sugar

Healthy Mummy mum Nicole Deakes Brown recently compared her 3.7 st weight loss to bags of sugar and she couldn’t believe her eyes! And nor could we!

For some mums, it’s easy to forget just how much weight, inches, and body fat we have lost while following the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges and Smoothies.

It isn’t until we compare our ‘weight lost’ with ACTUAL PHYSICAL OBJECTS that our minds are blown!

By following The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges and Healthy Mummy Smoothies and doing regular exercise Nicole has completely transformed her body and life.

Comparing weight loss to physical objects

She says “There is no better feeling than looking back and seeing how far you have come on your journey.

I have shed 12 x 2kg bags of SUGAR!.

Looking at those bags of sugar makes me shudder. How did I carry that around all day, everyday? To be honest I have no idea.  I never thought I had a weight problem”.

In addition to her weight lost Nicole says “I am a different person

  • I’m healthier
  • I’m fitter
  • I’m stronger
  • I’m more confident

Losing weight without giving up chocolate

Nicole admits to having a sweet tooth but says that by following The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges she has simply learnt to make healthier versions of the sweet treats that she enjoys.

In fact, she has become quite a master of meal prepping delicious guilt-free chocolatey snacks from the Challenge App.


She says “I’m teaching my girls about moderation, balance and to make healthier choices. All foods are good”.

Meal prepping helps keep Nicole on track

Nicole likes to meal prep on weekends. She says “I love The Healthy Mummy as I get to make the delicious healthy snacks.

I like to meal prep on a Saturday between housework, washing, ironing and running girls to dancing so I have Sunday’s free for family time.

Occasionally I will cook during the week and I make double of meals so we have leftovers and I get a couple of nights off cooking”.

In a recent meal prep session Nicole made:

Delicious Healthy Mummy Smoothies

As part of Nicole’s healthy lifestyle she often replaces breakfast and/or dinner with a nutritious Healthy Mummy Smoothie.


Despite dealing with some health issues recently which have made losing weight a little difficult Nicole says “One thing is that I have not given up even though there have been days that I wanted too.

I still move my body and nourish it with healthy food and plenty of water.

There will be bumps along the way but as long as we keep moving forward we will reach our destination.
