Mum who dropped 5 dress sizes reveals how she did it

Nicola Oates says she has completely TRANSFORMED her whole life!

The mum-of-two reveals sheโ€™s gone from 19.3st down to 12.1st and has dropped 5 dress sizesย by following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge!

Herย next goal? To lose a total of 8 stone.

Nicola, 36, saysย after seeing that photograph in December 2016 she was determined. Already she says she feels less tired than she used to.

โ€œBefore I started my 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge journey, I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I was constantly tired and would struggle to stay awake throughout the day,โ€ย she says.

โ€œI would have daily sleeps when my children did and I was a chronic snorer. It was majorly impacting my health and potentially my lifestyle as my doctor was recommending I shouldnโ€™t drive as my diagnosis was so severe!โ€

At her heaviest, she was taking Zantac for heartburn on a daily basis as she was extremely uncomfortable.

The mum-of-two says she realised it was time to do something and lose the weight. She then discovered the 28 Day Weight Loss Challengeย via theย Facebook support groups.

Nicola is a HUGE fan of meal prep

Nicola says that it wasnโ€™t just her weight that has changed, but her whole perspective on food.

Sheย reveals she now follows aย combination of low carb and high protein meal plan โ€“ but she also has to make sure itโ€™s something the family all like!

โ€œWe all love carbs so we have small amounts with a healthy serve of protein,โ€ย she says.

Nicola is usually a HUGE fan of meal prep but she says sheโ€™s gone aย bit backwards lately as life has been chaotic!

โ€œIย still aim to prep on Sundays for the weekly snacks for myself and family and double batch one or two dinners for my freezer stash.โ€

The mum-of-two says before she started her weight loss journey she was full of doubt.

โ€œMy first weight loss goal was to lose 1.8st because I was so scared of failure. I didnโ€™t even know if that was possible,โ€ย she adds.

โ€œI am now at a 7.1st loss and aiming for a total loss of 8 stone. It wonโ€™t happen overnight but I am motivated to continue my journey and am willing to work hard to achieve my goal.โ€
