Annette reveals that she hasย gained so much importantย knowledge from the Healthy Mummy that her tummy area is not such a big problem for her anymore, as her confidence soars with her newfound, amazing self!
โThanks to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge andย smoothies,ย I lost 3.1 stone after my second baby and Iโm now down 2.8 stone since having my third child.ย One of my biggest problem areas is and always has been my tummy!
Thanks to theย recipes, workouts and all the knowledge Iโve gained from the Healthy Mummy, itโs not such a big problem anymore and my confidence is sky high this summer!โย she reveals.
Annetteโs tips for blasting tummyย fat
1. โWater intake.ย Water is so important and helps with bloating which was a huge problem for me,ย soย make sure youโre drinking enough.
2.ย Exercise.ย Iโve foundย HIIT workoutsย and cardio have really helped reduce my tummy area. You canโt spot reduce fat so an all over body workout is my favourite go-to.
3.ย Nutrition.ย I never realised just how important it was until joining the 28 Day Challenge. Changing the way I eat has truly changed my body!โ

How Annette stays on her track with her weight loss journey
Like everyone else, Annette has good days and bad days, but there are many things that help her to keep going.ย The smoothies and the healthy eating are just some of the reasons she has come this far.
She shares some of the things that help keep her on track.
1. Meal prep
โMeal prep is your best friend,โย reveals Annette.
โFail to prepare, prepare to failโย ย is the best quote Annette has picked up and has become her mantra in meal prep. โIf Iโve got a stash of meals and snacks in the freezer I have absolutely no need to reach for something unhealthy,โย she says.
โThere are days where life just gets in the way and you need to have a pre-made dinner that you can just defrost and reheat ready to go when you donโt have time to cook.โ

2. Plan your exercise the same way you plan your meals
โIf you plan your exercise out then youโre more likely to stick to it and actually complete what youโve set yourself,โย Annette explains.
โIt works even better if you plan out your exercise with a friend so you can check up on each other and be accountable!โ
3. Donโt rely on the scales
โThe scales are a very fickle friend and really arenโt a true measure of your progress. Definitely weigh yourself but also take your measurements, get a goal piece of clothing and take photos so you can track your progress in a few different ways.
Some weeks the scales wonโt move but your measurements will and youโll fit more comfortably into that pair of jeans!โ
There are manyย reasons why the scales donโt always tell the truth.
4. Smoothies
Annette loves the Salted Caramel and will opt for a smoothie several times per week. Our smoothies are loaded with nutritious vitamins and minerals. They are also high in fibre which will help to maintain a healthy gut.
