Two mums come together and share their meal prepping mornings
Here at The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, we are strong believers and advocates of meal prepping.
We have no doubt that meal prepping helps to keep you on track when it comes to maintaining health and staying on track with your weight loss.
Meal prepping also helps to keep your life easy and simple when you are busy and rushed to prepare a meal. Meal prepping is healthy and homemade convenience food at its best.
Our Meal Prep Queen Kaitie Purssell says, ““Meal prepping has helped so much in my weight loss journey. I am a busy mum of two on a tight budget, and always having a freezer full of meals and snacks saves me from skipping meals or grabbing a takeaway on nights where time is limited. It absolutely keeps me on track!”
Two mums, Louise Fisher and Louise Cook shared their meal prepping with our Healthy Mummy community.
Louise Fisher
Louise admits she hasn’t done a meal prep for ages, but this time she says she, “got the cook on.”
After her meal prepping was complete, Louise had time to mow the lawn so she could get her step count up!
This is what she made!

Louise Cook
Our Healthy Mummy Louise Cook has spent her Monday morning before work, prepping. “Watch out freezer!” she says.
Louise spent the morning child free so she could have time to meal prep. “I love my kids but love my Monday kid free mornings with daycare before work!” she admits.
What did she make?
Simple Courgette & Bacon slice
Cheesy Broccoli bites (“I added corn too!”)
Beef Rissoles
She says, “Plus a 15 min exercise session – I’m ready for the week!”
