These 6 inspirational mums have dropped 14 dress sizes

When you are losing weight on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, it’s so easy to get fixated on the numbers on the scale.

Are they going down week on week? Did they go up slightly yesterday? Are they affected by PMS or how much water you’ve consumed the day prior? It can do your head in!

That’s why as part of the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge we recommend you look at other ways of measuring your success. And being able to slip into clothes a dress size (or two or three!) smaller than what you used to wear is a MASSIVE motivator to keep going!


These 6 mums have done just that, all dropping down from their starting points to a new dress size. And that has put a huge smile on their faces!

Tracey Bentley has gone from size 18 to size 14


Tracey joined the Healthy Mummy Facebook group and began trying out some of the recipes from the website.

She has since lost over a stone, going from 13.12st to 12.10st!

Tracey started out as a size 18 all over and now is down to a 14 on top and almost a 14 for trousers too.

Tracey says, “I started following the Healthy Mummy page four months ago and took my ‘before’ pics.”

Tracey says, “My favourite thing is how everyone motivates each other. We’re all here for each other on the ups and downs.”

Tracey’s favourite recipe from the Challenge? “It’s got to be the Bacon & Courgette Slice.

I had never have tried a courgette in my life but now I love them.”

Katie Kirkham is down three dress sizes 


Katie started at a size 16-18 and she now wears a size 10-12.

Katie says, “My favourite thing about the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge is the search feature on the recipe hub, I love being able to enter ingredients and it brings up so many recipes. And I love the snacks as I’m a huge chocoholic! So it’s saved my waist line.”

Katie’s says she has many favourite Healthy Mummy recipes. For main meals she loves the Stovetop Lasagne and the Simple Pea and Ham Soup.

Peanut bubble crunch

For snacks she is a fan of the Hidden Veg Sausage Rolls, Peanut Bubble Crunch and the Raw Peanut Butter Bars.

Kelly Anderson has dropped from a size 28 to a size 22


Kelly says “I was a tight size 28 starting the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge three months ago. I should have been wearing a 30 but refused to. I am now a size 22.”

Kelly says “I love so many things about the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, but the biggest for me is that it is family friendly and the food is normal.

Say what? Family-friendly Beef Lasagne cooked on the stovetop!

No restrictions, just moderation. It’s taught me so much that I haven’t learnt in decades on other diets.”

Hellevi Walker has gone from size 12 to an 8

Anna Marie Salisbury is down three dress sizes


Anna has dropped an incredible 3 dress sizes, going from a size 20 to a size 14 or 16!
