4 ingredient (nut-free) chocolate cups

Here’s a four ingredient recipe that’s so simple, yet so delicious.

Instead of grabbing a chocolate bar from the supermarket or petrol station (where they are kept inconveniently at eye level!) make these 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge friendly chocolate cups instead.

You can customise to your heart’s content, so if you prefer to add nuts go for it. If you’d rather use dried cherries or sultanas instead of cranberries, they’ll work too. See what tasty combinations you can come up with.

4 ingredient nut free chocolate cups

Ingredients (makes 8 serves)

  • 100g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, chopped (32 grams)
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries, chopped (20 grams)
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut (20 grams)


  1. Melt chocolate using your preferred method.
  2. Add seeds, cranberries and coconut. Mix to combine.
  3. Spoon into 8 small patty cases or mini silicone moulds.
  4. Place in the fridge to set.
  5. Keep stored in the fridge in an airtight container.

Recipe makes 8 chocolate cups at 116 calories each.
