Recall alert issued for Cow & Gate baby food at TESCOS
Customers who have purchased Cow & Gate baby food for babies 7 months + in Tesco stores in the UK are advised not to use them because they may pose a safety risk.
Cow & Gate and Tesco are voluntarily recalling 15 varieties of 7+ month Cow & Gate baby food jars (200g) sold by Tesco stores in the UK, as a precautionary measure following concerns that some jars may have been tampered with.

In a statement, Tesco said, “We regret that this incident has happened and we are sorry for the concern and the inconvenience that this recall may cause,” Tesco and Cow & Gate said.
“Safety is our number one priority which is why we have, as a precautionary measure, both withdrawn these jars from sale and are recalling them from consumersโ homes.”
What product is affected?
The recall only involves these varieties sold in Tesco stores in the UK. No other Cow & Gate, Tesco or other branded baby products are affected.

The jars should be returned to Tesco for a full refund.
