Prince Louis takes centre stage in this NEW photo from his christening

The third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, was christened on the 9th July.

This is the second time EVER the three month old has appeared in public and he is as cute as ever!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released four official photographs to mark the christening of Prince Louis on Monday 9th July. The photographs were taken by Matt Holyoak at Clarence House, following Prince Louis’s baptism in the Chapel Royal, St. James’s Palace.

At his christening, Prince Louis wore a handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by Angela Kelly, Dressmaker to The Queen – the original Royal Christening Robe, of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was made in 1841 for the christening of Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal ?PA

Prince Loius has been christened!

Held at a private ceremony in the Chapel Royal at London’s St James’s Palace (the same place his older brother Prince George was baptised 5 years earlier).

The godparents were thought to be Prince Harry and Megan but this was not the outcome. EKKK!

The godfathers are Prince William’s friends Nicholas van Cutsem, fellow Etonian Harry Aubrey-Fletcher and nightclub owner Guy Pelly.

Meanwhile Kate’s cousin Lucy Middleton, school friend Hannah Carter and William’s pal Lady Laura Meade are Louis’ godmothers.

Prince Louis’ older sister and bother, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were also in attendance showing off there good behaviour and exceptionally cute looks!

What did they eat?

The royal family sent out a tweet stating that a part of William and Kate’s wedding cake (don’t worry it was 8 tiers) would be used for the christening cake, how sweet.

A video released by Kensington Palace showed Prince Louis being carried into The Chapel Royal by his mother, where the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, describing the sleeping prince as “very relaxed and peaceful”.

“I hope he stays like this,” Kate added.
